Greetings from Detroit
We would like to thank you for taking the time to look at our investment opportunity The Power of Green Housing™. As you go through this informational packet, I am sure you’ll experience the same thoughts we had at first from “are you guys kidding me” to “oh my goodness—this is awesome and the new way of building green in our world”. We will become a national/global company/brand in the near future.
As brother and sister, we have truly made our mark in Detroit rehabbing nearly 30 houses and building great relationships with local businesses, city and state officials and now with government entities that are on board and ready to support our green development efforts.
What we need now is the rest of the funding to make this global vision a reality. Our goal is to break ground on October 1, 2008 with our first prototype—a 17 unit condo complex Exceptional Green Living on Rosa Parks located within walking distance to Wayne State University. This prototype will be the first of many and we are seeing an overwhelming level of support from Detroit’s Planning and Development Department as well as Building and Safety… this project has been “hand-held” by officials from Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC) and Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA)—we feel very honored to have such an exciting concept and idea being embraced and encouraged from all levels of government.
Michigan State and Detroit officials are supportive of The Power of Green Housing™ for two reasons: Jobs and Energy Efficiency. Jobs: our long term vision is to set up a manufacturing plant utilizing the technology we are patenting to build this affordable and energy efficient housing creating permanent jobs not only in Detroit, but in Michigan. Second, we are able to reduce monthly energy costs to the end consumer by up to 60% using this technology.
Our timeline is simple: build two prototypes by September 2009, and in the fall of 2009 build the third and all future projects in our warehouse reducing the cost to produce our green affordable housing by an additional 20-25%, duplicate that warehouse near Port and Rail systems in the United States in 2010 through 2013 while coordinating with other countries to help build housing infrastructures where there is need. We are actively working with two organizations that will facilitate our global expansion in 2010 and 2011.
We welcome the opportunity to share with you our vision and invite you to become a part of this vision by investing in a cutting edge and new way of green building while making a difference not only in Detroit, but globally as we recycle our earth’s natural resources and provide affordable, green, sustainable and energy efficient housing.
